In this collection of four essays of Sri Aurobindonian thought, the title essay “Song of the Soul” looks at the epic poem “Savitri” in a completely new light. It emphasises that the soul of man is the main topic “Savitri” and quotes profusely from the poem to prove its point. Other essays are Yugapurusha Sri Aurobindo, Avatara and Avatarathe and World-Soul, which make an equally interesting reading.
